I am Olin Webster, a product designer with strong passion for the outdoors. This fuels my designs, aiming to bridge performance, aesthetics, and sustainability.
I am a currently pursuing a BFA in product design from the University of Oregon. My technical skills include Adobe Creative Cloud, Rhinoceros 3D, Vray, Clo3D, sketching, and marker rendering. I have experience sewing and woodworking, with most of my projects being handcrafted. Handmade wooden furniture and handmade clothing have been my academic passion and focus which I hope to carry forward into my career.
Growing up in the small mountain town of Steamboat Springs Colorado, fueled my passion for outdoor design and the unique creative industry of product design. I grew up an outdoor enthusiast skiing, mountain biking and playing other sports. This connection is what inspires my design style. This means designing for the outdoors as well as using nature as form inspiration. When I wasn’t outside, I loved hands on learning including bike mechanic work and woodworking. This combination eventually led to my passion and enjoyment of design and the ability to create usable products for the world.
